The Musée National d'Art Moderne (National Museum of Modern Art) in the Centre Pompidou features a superb collection of modern and contemporary art and houses almost 100,000 pieces of modern art: installations, photography, sculpture, paintings, photos and films among other art forms. There are works from famous artists such as Kandinsky, Picasso, Braque and Matisse. Exhibitions change frequently allowing regular visitors to deeply explore modern and contemporary art from all over the world. The permanent collections are free to the public to view. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
