Free Concerts at Bercy Village
Bercy Village is the sole American style shopping complex in Paris, but has significantly more attraction than your typical strip mall. Located south of the Gare de Lyon and on the east side of Paris, Bercy is the home of the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy and also the Ministry of Finances. Bercy also has its own metro station which makes it convenient to reach other areas of Paris (Bercy is in the 12th arrondissement). Every Tuesday and Thursday, you can appreciate village concerts that range from ethnic folk music to well known international artists. It truly is wonderful to sit at a cobbled cafe terraces while enjoying the great music. The music concerts are free. Dance The Tango On Quai Saint-Bernard
There are many great outdoor Parisian festivals happening during the summer, including Cinéma en Plein Air (July through Augus) in the The Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, an annual summertime outdoor film festival. But what about those of you who like to dance? Visit the Quai Saint-Bernard at night in the warm months as Parisians flock to this square nightly for years. From rock to tango, dancing outdoors at Quai Saint - Bernard has become a tradition. While in the square, you are able to benefit from viewing the various sculptures from renowned artists like Constantin Brancusi.
