The Curie Museum in Paris

Institut Curie is one of the leading medical, biological and biophysical research centres in the world. The Curie Museum is located on the ground floor of the Curie Institute, a leading cancer treatment hospital and biological, medical research centre. The Curie Museum is part of the Institut Curie where they both help spread the knowledge about radioactivity and its applications, including the fight against cancer. This was the place were artificial radioactivity was discovered, thanks to Nobel Prize winners Irène Joliot-Curie and Frédéric Joliot. Admission to the Curie Museum is free.
