Nuit Blanche is an annual all-night or night-time arts festival. The first night-time trail through the streets of Paris and its contemporary-art scene took place on 5 October 2002. A Nuit Blanche will typically have museums, private and public art galleries, and other cultural institutions open and free of charge, with the centre of Paris itself being turned into a public art gallery, providing space for art installations, performances (music, film, dance, performance art), themed social gatherings, and other activities.

Nuit Blanche is an annual night of art celebration that receives a large number of Parisians and visitors. During this well-loved social and cultural function, the galleries, museums, pools, and other locations open their doors at night for the community of Paris. In each area there's always unique things to see and be entertained including music concerts, shows, installations, and a whole lot more. The white night {is usually|is generally|is normally} in October. Check their website at http://www.paris.fr/loisirs/les-grands-rendez-vous/nuits-blanches/p6806 for more info on dates and other details. Activities during the White Night are free.
